Connection Speech Therapy was founded by Shanna Crouse, an ASHA-Certified Speech Language Pathologist. Shanna Crouse has been serving toddlers, children, teens, and young adults in the Bismarck Mandan area for over 20 years. Shanna received her Undergraduate Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of North Dakota and went on to receive her Master's Degree from the University of Iowa in Speech Language Pathology. After returning to Bismarck and working with preschoolers, she found she had a passion for autism and went back to school to receive her Autism Spectrum Disorders Graduate Certificate. In addition to speech therapy, she has provided consultative services for teachers and families as they support a loved one with autism.
Shanna specializes in speech therapy for autistic children and teens, children with various developmental disorders, and speech therapy for "late talkers." Shanna prioritizes meaningful connections that foster inclusion, acceptance, and improved quality of life for all children and their families.
Shanna lives in Bismarck with her husband, Mike, and her two teenage boys, Garen and Jonas. When her family isn't keeping her busy, she enjoys reading, crafting, traveling, and kayaking.
